Declaration:

The Medau Society aims to ensure that children are protected and kept safe from harm whilst taking part in movement related activities.

The Medau Society aims to do this by:
 

• Providing all teachers with relevant information regarding child protection;
   
• Ensuring all teachers working with children/young people are aware of all issues concerning child protection including current legislation;
   
• Providing good practice guidelines for:   teachers involved with junior/youth groups;  children/young people taking part in Medau Movement classes/activities;  parents and guardians of children taking part in Medua Movement classes/activities.  

• Implementing a complaints procedure in order to address any complaints or reports of misconduct;
   
• Providing a self declaration form to be completed by all teachers involved with junior/youth groups;
   
• Maintaining a list of all teachers involved with junior/youth groups.
